Casio G Shock Frogman

Casio G Shock Frogman

The frogman is a top model of the Casio G-Shock line.

He was one of the first models of the “Master G” line, a line of G-Shock is designed for special uses. The diver has an a-symmetrical and asymmetrical shape, is also attached to the straps. It is specially designed as a watch diving and scuba diving is the only one compatible with ISO 6425 G-Shock with a line rating of 200 m water resistance.

The first frogman (DW-6300) was published in November 1993. While Casio began using the 4 screws of the back plate at that time, the DW-6300 had a classic screwback. In June 1995, a second generation frogman is out. He was the DW-8200 model. From now on, the frog-man has become very popular G-Shock of many collectors and special editions were released.

A bit of a strange man-frog in the line up is the MRG-1100-2. This model is part of the MR-G, a high-end G-Shock line models in metal. While all other models of glasses resin, the MRG-1100 is made of metal.

In April 1999, DW-9900 model was introduced. The frogman was slightly smaller than the DW-8200. For the next two years, both DW-8200 and DW-9900 models were produced. The DW-9900 model appears to be less popular because it was quickly followed by the GW-200 model in June 2001. Except for the “Snake Killer” and “carbon fiber frogman” (GW-201-6JF and GW-201NT-1JF), this man-frog Tough Solar Module 2242. Rumors have said several times that the frogman GW-200 has its latest version. The model has been around for at least 7 years longer than the DW-8200. The letters “GW” on the model number suggests this model receives signals from atomic clock, but this is not true. Possible future 5th generation diver has this feature.
